Gdansk has an extensive bus and tram network operating between 5 a.m. and 11 p.m., later there are special services of night bus lines.
You should purchase different tickets depending on the trip duration

• single ticket for 15 minutes - 2.00 PLN
• single ticket for 45 minutes - 2.80 PLN

To save money, it is advisable to purchase:

• a daily ticket - 9.10 PLN or
• a monthly pass – 110 PLN.

Tickets can be bought at a newspaper stand "kiosk" in advance and must be validated on the bus or tram. A student identification card and the European Youth Card Euro 26 Student entitle a student to 50% discount on train, bus and tram fares (until the student reaches the age of 26).
