Scientific research
The departments at Gdansk School of Banking conduct research projects, including:
- The e-Learning Project distance learning - Inter-departmental Team
- Statistical methods of research into economic phenomena - Department of Quantitative Methods
- Research into the processes of bankruptcy among economic subjects - Department of Finances and Department of Law
- Research into the criteria governing the making of economic decisions by market subjects - Department of Management and Marketing and Department of Economics.
Scientific conferences
Every year, Gdansk School of Banking organises scientific conferences devoted to financial issues. The following conferences have taken place so far:
- E-learning as a Method of Aiding the Educational Process - an international conference organised within the framework of the DILBAC project, financed from the Leonardo da Vinci programme June 2006;
- Ethics, Taxes and Tax Consultancy - a conference organised in cooperation with the Pomorskie branch of the National Chamber for Tax Advisers April 2005;
- Poland in the Euro Zone - an international conference organised in cooperation with the University of Gdańsk Centre for Research into European Integration June 2004;
- The Market of Financial Services in the European Union - Opportunities and Challenges for Poland - an international conference organised in cooperation with the University of Gdańsk Centre for Research into European Integration March 2003.
Scientific booklets
For several years, Gdansk School of Banking has been publishing Scientific Booklets in which are published articles written by the academic and scientific staff of the School. They are a complement to the specialist literature recommended to students.
