Educational Offer

The programme of studies at Gdańsk School of Banking has been prepared on the basis of European standards of education with the active cooperation of specialists from the broadly understood sphere of finances.

In accordance with the guidelines of the Bologna Process , which affects the whole of the European Community, Gdansk School of Banking offers:

  • First-cycle studies - 3-year Bachelor studies: graduates obtain the degree of Bachelor and a diploma confirming their attainment of higher education,
  • Second-cycle studies - 2-year Master studies: graduates obtain the degree of Master and a diploma of completion of second-cycle studies
Moreover, the School offers versatile trainings and post-graduate courses , which are 1-year non-degree programmes.

Students can choose among two systems of studies :
  • full-time studies - classes are held from Monday to Friday
  • part-time studies - classes take place on Saturdays and Sundays twelve times in each semester. In order to increase the possibility of contact with lecturers, consultations for students are also often organised on Friday afternoons.
At Gdańsk School of Banking, students may apply for permission to realise an individual plan of studies and teaching programme if they are planning to study simultaneously in two fields and/or two specialities, have transferred from another higher school or cannot participate for health reasons in classes in accordance with their regular study plan.
The European Credit Transfer System
is a system which makes it easier for students to spend part of their studies at another school, including abroad. Gdańsk School of Banking introduced ECTS in 2002.
The School was one of the first schools in Pomorze to introduce the Diploma Supplement . The document constitutes part of the diploma of the completion of studies and contains information about the programme of studies ralised, work experience undertaken, achievements in the course of studies (awards, distinctions, research conducted, etc.) and additional activity at the school, e.g. in student organisations.
