Erasmus

The European Commission has awarded Gdansk School of Banking the Extended Erasmus Charter . For students of the School this means the possibility of going abroad not only to study at a foreign institution but also to obtain work experience with a company or other institution abroad . Within the framework of the Erasmus exchange programme, foreign students also come to study at our School and the School organizes faculty and administration staff exchanges .
Gdansk School of Banking has participated in the Erasmus programme for three years. During this time, the School has entered into cooperation with 33 higher schools abroad from different EU countries: France, Belgium, Germany, Italy, Switzerland, Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Turkey, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Denmark, UK, Sweden and Norway. Each year scholarships are awarded to several dozen students and the School welcomes students and teachers from partner universities.
While studying abroad our students:
  • are exempt from tuition fees at Gdansk School of Banking
  • receive Erasmus grant which evens out the difference in the material standards between Poland and the country accepting the students
  • do not pay tuition fees at the foreign institution
Within the framework of the Erasmus programme, it is possible to study abroad for a period of between 3 months and a full academic year. The period of studies realised abroad is equivalent to the period of studies at Gdansk School of Banking (this is enabled by the application of the ECTS points system).
